I watched the opening show this morning from my sick bed and it was superb.

I was trying to think of the opening show for Britain if we had got the Olympics.

It may have gone as follows.

Aussie: Horse show
British: Sinclair C5

Aussie: Ocean show
British: People dressed up as floating turds
