empting cache?
I have a word document that was sent to me.
it has a bunch of PDF's in it. I need to save them outside of the word doc and the only way I can do that is to open them, and then use Save As.
after I do this twice I get an error message saying I can't save the file because the disk I am saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full.
I looked for folders called "temp" and all I saw were the internet temp files.
is there a folder somewhere else? or any other suggestions you may have?
thanks

There should be a temp folder in Windows.

You can use the Disk Cleanup to get rid of all the temp files.

Are you sure there is enough room left on your hard drive?

The same thing has happened to me with other programmes. I've found that a restart usually solves the problem.

yea, I had these files save but I had copy and pasted them from the word doc. and that saved them as something other than PDF's.
so i deleted them and tried to save them from the Save As menu item. this worked for one but now I get the error.
i did restart but I'll give it another try...
thanks

It could be something to do with the memory if you're copying and pasting. Try clearing the copy board.
