John,
I concur with Ian, the one who cant spell. People keep getting my name wrong, and to be perfectly honest, it is a bit misleading. A change of font would be a nice idea. Nothing drastic, like windings, but a font that you can easily distinguish between an upper case i(I), and a lower case L(l).
It has been a while since i did any web-design, so i am not sure if this is true, but i thought if you were using Style Sheets, you could change the font relatively easily. So if you were using CSS, it may not be that big a problem. Anyway, its just an idea. Far be it from me to tell you how to do your job. You seem to be doing an excellent job anyway . Keep up the good work.
Regards,
Iain.
Iain, thats with an i by the way!

I once took a class in which they went into detail about different typs of fonts, different styles, sizes, and measurements. The font that is currently being used is a standard Sans Serifs Font. In practically all Sans Seriff Fonts, it's hard to distinguish between an upper-case i and a lower-case L. Why a Sans Seriff Font tends to look more professional, a Seriff Font (such as Times New Roman) is actually easier to read. It also makes it possible to distinguish between the upper-case i and the lower-case L.
BTW, according to the teacher in that class, this is a different font than this, this, or this. They're from the same font family, but they are not the same font. (The same goes for sizes)

Another pssubility is to have tags for diff fonts Arial, that would probably be alot of coding and time consuming but if more people find good reasons for it, it might have to be done.

Hi Ian,
I'm afraid that we're not going to be able to change the font. We've decided that it's the smartest font that's available across all browsers. Sorry about that
All the best,
James

Dont mean to be awkward but (ohoh! this'll let the cat out of the bag) I'm an Ian too, and I prefer my I not to have serifs on. I think serifs look unprofessional, and have even signed my name as !an before now. (*sorry*)
