Drive letter
Hi,
I've just installed Win2k on my new system and divided the HDD into two partitions. But the first partition is called 'C:' and the other 'E:'. The letter 'D:' is my CD-Rom/Writer. How can I change the driveletter of my second partition to 'D:' ?
Tnx,
MK

Go into your 'Control Panel'. Go into 'Administrative Tools'. Open 'Computer Management'. In the treeview window on the left pick 'Disk Management' which is under the 'Storage' category. From here you can right click on any of your drives and pick 'Change Drive Letter and Path' (except your boot drive).
Hope that helps.
