Here is a registry code that should work.

Note your function requires 3 arguments + 1 optional

hkey is the root key constant
path is the path your value is located in
strvalue is the value name
default (i'm not sure, guessing) is the return value if the value doesn't exist. May also be a boolean you specify if you want to return the default key value.
So you would have to do it like this:
