    C, C++, C# Editors.

    Well, I want to learn one of the above languages, but I can't find C++ anywhere in the shops anymore, and I don't want to learn .Net.

    So, are there any freeware Editors that I could use?? For any of the languages. Preferably not Notepad and a compilier.. as thats abit boring.

    Something like JBuilder, as long as its not written in Java!!

    lol

    Thanks in Advance.

    Editor 99 did syntax highlighting. There aren't many programmable editors available for Windows, sadly.

    UltraEdit and Edit++ are both syntax highlighting editors, but not freeware (you can get a 30-day trial version of Edit++).

    That stuff is all handled by the windows (or whatever OS you're using) API. I suggest buying a C or C++ book that focuses on your OS.
