What are people doing here?

Not that I don't like it, but I think it's kinda weird...

I mean, I like entering a forum somtimes to solve some doubts, and maybe help someone if I can. I do that in other forums, where I know about the subject more than the posters (I'm not VB master yet to do that here ^^).

But in this forum here, beside other forums, it looks like a lot of people are not doing that. Looks like they're just hanging in there, waiting for a question, just to answer, like a job. :P

So, the question would be, are all those just crazy helpers or do someone get paid working here?

We just have a large dedicated community.
That, and most people are bored in work, so they just hang around here

My motivation is the custom status (everyone has to have goals right?).
But seriously, for me it is that I have received answers to many of my questions, so much that in some cases I'll ask before even bothering to look it up myself. So in return I like to answer other's questions when I can.
Then you have chit chat which is just all around good fun
