Connection Problem
Hi,
I have .net framework installed in my Windows2000 system
I have IIS. I have put some sample applications in a virtual directory. When I try to acces the files like "http://localhost/sample.aspx", it brings the Dial-up connection wizard. what should I do?
regards

Depends on the browser. I have found Netscrape very difficult to get working in cases like these.
The other thing is if it is just asking you if you want to connect or stay offline then select connect. Often thats all it needs and it will bring up you page without dialling.
Finally if you're on a lan with a proxy server then in connection setting for IE ensure to select "Bypass proxy for local addresses".
