    I'm going to change the visited link colour for the gold style set to a lighter shade of blue.

    Better. It's easier to tell the visited and unvisited apart...

    Is the visited link the only one you had to change?

    I like the part about not being able to absolutly differentiate between
    visited and non-vistited.... it only really needs to be different when
    you are looking for it.

    More contrast please. At first I just thought my eyes were bugging out. I can barely tell the difference unless I really "look". Not anything jangling like lime green or even. Similar is good so you can read the whole list without distraction, but a bit more contrast would be nice.
