This has nothing to do with VB, but I require someone's help!!!!!
any idea what this problem is...... when filling in web forms it freezes when i switch between fields.... for lots of seconds a time..... and its a waste of time..... any idea what I can do?
I've had this problem all the time, while using ie 4 to ie 6, I've never not had this problem and I just want quick, flowing forms. Is that too much to ask?

try to set a tab order for your forms. How many forms do you have? What kind?

No, no, no!!! :P This is a problem with my computer.
***ANY FORM***
I go on google, type in a search, ANY SEARCH, and it freezes for about 10 seconds and starts the search. Then if I search again, same problem. I can go anywhere, ANYWHERE and fill in something, I then press Post/Search/Go and it freezes for some time and continues. Any idea what to do?

www.downloads.com

when you DL ad-aware (everyone should) make sure you get the newest reference file too.. it has any new spyware apps that have been added to their remove list since the release of the actual program...

certain programs may not work after you run it... there are programs that "require" certain "components" in order to work... but i assure you... the program is not worth having if it won't run without something ad-aware will find...
for example.. if you install morpheus and run ad-aware.. it will find some components.. you can delete them... and it will still work fine..
but if you download grokster.. install it.. and then run ad-aware and remove spyware.. grokster won't work anymore... I guess it "NEEDS" that GATOR software to run

that is what i said... i got 2 real good IT guys here at my office and when they told me to DL ad-aware i did.. and i ran it and it found like 150+ entries it wanted to delete.. so i was kinda scared to remove all that stuff.. so when i saw them i asked them again and said how do i know what to remove.. and both of them at the same time said "ALL OF IT" they said.. if ad-aware finds it.. you don't want it..

No luck guys. That did nothing. Google still takes time to kick in and I'm wondering if there will ever be a cure.

I wonder how many charact
I would try:
Uninstall and Reinstall the latest IE... although that might not remove the dll thats causing it...it may overwrite it.
Uninstall and reinstall any Java machines... Microsoft, Sun... you may have a conflict here...

I've had this for over a year though, I've not had programs installed that long, two different OS's (95 and 98 (98 atm)) and I'm still getting freezing forms. I don't think there could be a conflict unless it was a real stupid one. I don't know what to say, hehe. I'll try finding a "critical update", but my problem seems unheard of. :P

well if it is an IE problem they might fix it.. but if it is a conflict or an OS problem you are going to be SOL... since MS doesn't support 98 anymore

If it was an IE problem then everyone else would have it. Thanks, but no thanks. I've tried redownloading before, it does nothing for me. As for my OS, I've had this hard drive a month, and the day I installed it was ****ed, no explanation to it.

6G???!!!!! With only 800Mb left??!!?
Yuck! You might want to invest in a larger HD... the problem may be in the Temp Internet Files folder..... it needs to purge it more often because of htelimited disk space.....
But that's just one gnome's opinion.....

goto tools -> internet options and it is on the first tab

i have win98
32mb of ram
500mhz

"purging" did nothing for me. The freeze is a "Not Responding" sort of freeze.

So you did the Delete Files and no go? What has stayed constant in your hardware, you mentioned switching OS's, harddrives, but nothing about perhaps your Cable Modem...
I guess if you could direct us to a site as an example... maybe we could verify its stricty you.
