Right, I've just about had enough with this stupid font that makes a capital i look like a l, so i'm starting my campaign to free this site of this stupid Font, so join here for mine and Iain17's campain for freedom

Well said my son. This has been bugging me for quite some time. I have even tried telling people in my signature, but to no avail.

I think a change is defiantly in order, surely it cant be that difficult to change the font?

well.... no matter if john changes the font or not, there is an option in the IE and Netscape to choose a font, so if you pick arial in the IE no matter what john will put, it will automatically change it to arial

yeah, but surely everybody will not set their font to times new roman or whatever....
and since they won't everybody will call them La(i)n instead of Ia(i)n which is really (capital eye)a(i)n

Here's my attempt at an "chr(73)" -less message.

Someone once wrote a complete novel (Mr Sreeves can't remember the name) where the letter E appeared not once and E happens to be the most used letter of the language (Mark assumes you know the language he refers to!)

Great reply to the thread that can not allow that character to be used anywhere on a forum such as vb-world.net. Hence, from now, the above used character should be abandoned, as long as a remedy has not been found to solve the problem we have.

My eyes have been drawn to the "text you have at the bottom of every post" (the name cannot be spoke).

The hated letter can be seen! Or are these excluded as my own breaks the law also?

well, it looks like our protests have failed (See Here), due to the devilish james. Oh well, all protests have to come to an end, and like the brittish fuel protest we have made our point, so we our safe in the knowledge that the population has spoken. If anybody now calls me Lan after this protest, I will personally come round to your computer and remove the letter L from your keyboard and shove it where the sun don't shine
