    Hi, anyone know how to split up an Internet download like FlashGet does?

    Ok...

    How about someone tell me what I have to do to just download using winsock, given that I have the host name and file path?

    For example, do I have to use 'GET /FILE' or something like that?

    Go get a reference for FTP commands, this could be found on a unix or linux site i guess. And the method you are talking about sounds more like you would be wanting to use the INet control not winsock. There are tutorials on this site about that.
