Making a program that can do HTML forms

You know when you go to something like a feedback page, and you fill in those text boxes then press enter, and your browser then sends the information to the appropriate CGI script? My question is this: how would I make a program that allows me to send information to a CGI script to be executed? Help would be appreciated, thanks!

Pure API, of course. I can't stand MFC!

Never done that. I only wrote some quick hacks with MFC to query a web page (actually an automatic retriever/decoder for the secret messages at Blizzard's Starcraft:Ghost promotion), but never done it with API.
    Let's dig out old Petzold...

Look up the WinInet API, it provides you with http, ftp and gopher handling functions.
