    Before, I go out and buy VB.NET I would like to know something.

    Everything you can do in VB 6 you can do in VB.NET right?

    It is possible to do every yes, but its a whole different ball game really being a true oop language. Some things you will find easier and some things are a little more tricky. But in general it is far better in my opinion.
    Wind and waves resolves all problems.

    So will the standard edition satisfy my needs to say...make a crappy snake game or something that communicates over the internet?
