    Dumb Idea..maybe

    Well this might sound dumb to most of you. I'm sorta a newb and i don't know if u could do this but..A sleep timer for the PC? I always watch skate videos on my comp and fall asleep to the d\T at night. Why not fall asleep to a skate video on my computer? ::shrug::

    is it supposed to wake you up or is it supposed to shut down the computer when its inactive?

    I suppose it COULD do both...But I was talking about setting a certain time and it would shut off at that time..?

    This one works for a win9x platform, and uses a 24 clock format...

    To modify this to work on NT, you need to use a few API's before you use the ExitWindowsEx call. Take a look at this thread ...

    Use the inbuilt function.

    I'm not sure what platforms it is on, but there is that program that does things at certain times in the day. You could get it to turn your comp. off at certain times each day maybe. (like 3 am or something) Or set it to turn off after 3 hrs of inactivity
