VB>NET & WISE For Windows 4.2 install
Hi everybody
I have to write aninstallation program for a VB.NET application using WISE for Windows 4.2. This is the first time I have ever used WISE for Windows or wrote an installation program. I was wondering if anybody could give me some pointers on how I should go about doing this?
Here are some of the specifics. The installation is only going to be installed on one server. The server is running IIS and SQL 2000. The installation program is going to have to install 4 VB.NET modules(on IIS) that all interact with one another and two maybe three databases (on SQL server) The installation is also going to have to write the default data to the DB's tables and migrate data from an old Access DB to the SQL DB.
I have a little bit of an idea of what to do but still shakey on what condidtions to check for and how to do it. Sorry if this seems like a lot but I am pretty lost .
Thanks,
Jutah
