cd autorun
how do you turn this off?? i keep puttin music cds (with progs) in and it keep f**king up my computer!!!!!!!!

I'll try to explain it, but I may not have the exact names (My OS is in Dutch). Rightclick on My Computer, click properties and goto the Hardware tab. Select your CD-rom and click properties. There goto the tab Settings (or options or something). There is a checkbox called something like "Message on automatic insertion" (That is just a translation of the dutch text). If you deselect that checkbox cd's shouldn't autorun.
You can also prevent autorun by holding down the SHIFT button while inserting the CD.

Go to Device manager; select you drive and under setting it is Auto Insert Nortification, in English.
