Wouldn't it be handy to change the number of messages per page from 40 to 50? because I think that the new posts dissapear to quick from the mainpage and forces people to re-post their messages, and that leads to more search results with 0 replies (wow I'm looking far ahead )
Thanks for your consideration.

Jop, there is a way to show more threads. Look on the top right of a forum, it'll say, "Show threads from: " and it will give you choices to choose from.
Not sure if your talking about that, but that's what it seems.

I think he's talking about the limit per page in threads (currently 40)
I think 40's good enough, but maybe you could increse it in the Chit-chat forum, but everywhere else, any question that gets 40+ replys should really be in Chit-chat (I know there is more than one way to skin a cat, but 40? ).

I know
I think Jop means the main page that links to the threads, not the threads them selves. I agree that it would be better if the main page displayed more new threads, as people post, and then within an hour it is moved to the seocond page, and they may post again. Perhaps it would be a good idea to display all new threads on the main page, and not take them onto a second page... Just my suggestion and preference

Yep rem...
...that's what I meant
but I'm not sure if it's a good idea about all new pages 'cause the page will get awfully long

At the moment, we will be sticking with 40, because that maintains a good balance between loading time, and number of individual pages.
