    Crystal help file

    Could someone please email me the crystal help file associated with VB? I think it's Developer.hlp

    I think that the file you are looking for is probably CrystalDevHelp.chm, this normally comes with Crystal Reports installation.

    Not sure which one do u need but I also have that problem when I press F1 in vb and get the same kinda message u r getting...

    Just go to Crystal Reports CDROM and find a folder called DOCS and it has got 5-6 helpfiles in PDF format...its kinda book...GREAT stuff...

    Even I can't find that file so I am using those 6 PDF files as a reference...trust me they are great...

    Just go to Crystal Reports CDROM and find a folder called DOCS and it has got 5-6 helpfiles in PDF format
    I only have one help file - UserGde.pdf, this doesn't contain what I'm looking for.

    I want to learn about the CRViewer.

    2) you don't need to register to access any of the online documentation.. only to email then for actual live support

    How come my CDROM has 6 files in it...

    Developer Guide.pdf
    Features.pdf ( I converted it from Features.doc )
    SCR8 and Hyperion Essbase.pdf
    Tech Reference Vol 1.pdf ( Renamed to remember )
    Tech Reference Vol 2.pdf ( Renamed to remember )
    User Guide.pdf
    Web Reporting Administrator's Guide.pdf ( Renamed to remember )

    you never stated what version you were using... i am sure different releases will have different documentation.. even if some of the stuff works the same

    mel.. i don't have the files.. and i am using crystal 8.. but do you want to just learn all about it? or do you have specific question.. i have been using the control for a while.. so i am pretty good with it.. if you are having a specific problem i may be able to help

    It's 5MB in size...and 1.7MB after using WinRAR...

    tell me ur email address and I will send u the RAR file...u need WinRAR 2.8 to unrar it...
