    Hello Friends

    I am sending a mail to my friend. I want to know whether that mail has been read by my friend or In Short I want an acknowledgement for my mail. Is it possible.

    You can use read receipts. If the client your friend is using supports them, it will send an acknowledgement back when your friend opens the mail.
    Or you could always put a line at the bottom asking your friend to drop you an email when they've read it.
