    Package & deployment

    I have been unable to get past the message below when installing to win 98
    using PDW. Have installed to other win 98,
    i don't know why it hangs on this 1 machine. Using vb6 win2k. Can anybody
    help? Thanks

    Invalid line in setup information file

    Does it really hangs forever or just 1 minute...???

    Machaira, he said Win 98 which usaly means there is no true Admin account.

    Are you using the latest service pack, i.e. SP5 for VB6?

    Also are all your client machines running the same version of Win98? I think there are two major variations in Win98, a plain Win98 and a Win98 SE.

    I just noticed that you have no File number before the @ sign on that line. If this is the case it would be an invalid line. Should look something like:

    File10@@MSCOMCTL.ocx,$(WinSysPath),$(DLLSelfRegister),$(Shared),5/22/00 12:00:00
    AM,1066176,6.0.88.62
