How to trasnfer movie from Camcorder to Computer
How can I transfter a movie from camcorder to a computer?
The camcorder has a DV Out port.
The computer doesn't have any fireware port. But it has 2 USB ports.
Any help?

The easiest way to do this is to spend some money on a firewire card - you can get one for about £30 (US $45). The speeds are far better than any other alternative at a reasonable price.
I highly recommend Pinnacle's DV+, which provides cables, card, and software - about $160.
Other than firewire, your options are limited. If you have a s-video input in you graphics card, that's a possibility, but you still need sofware to capture the video.
Spend the money and go for firewire...

Do you mean that I have to insert fireware card and port to computer? If it is a laptop, will it be possible?

Yep, that's how I do it on a desktop. If you want to use a laptop, there are PCMCIA cards with the same functionality.

I'll say it agin, there are other methods, but almost all require some kind of expense, and are often difficult to set up and get to work. I found buying a complete solution is more cost effective in the long run...

You can also buy a usb firewire cable that will convert firewire to usb, or you can buy a converter box, but you won't need one.
A firewire card or a firewire to usb cable is your best bet.

Hmm, fireware to USB converter cable seems most interesting....
because laptops with fireware tend to cost quite much... whereas laptops with just USBs are cheaply available....
