Outlook (2000)
(I haven't even had the thing for a week and I've already screwed it up!!)
I have 2 pop3 email accounts, which were working fine, I think until I deleted various .dbx files (eg. Sent Items.dbx) from this one directory which I'm pretty sure were only used by Outlook Express (which I've since uninstalled). Whenever I try to receive my emails, it fails, giving me the following error message for both accounts: "Internet Mail is not registered properly. Please re-install and try again. (Account: ... Error number: 0x80040154)."
I've tryed clicking on Help/Detect and Repair and even re-installing ms office 2000 pro. Maybe I should uninstall Outlook then reinstall in?? It also seens to have stopped working around the same time I changed my ie6 security settings from custom to medium, if that's got anything to do with it??
Anyway, if you can help, email me at [email protected] <--joke!!
Thanks!!

That seems the obvioius thing to do. You can export your current settings in Outlook 2000 and reimport them in the new setup
