    extending partition space

    What is the best way to go about reallocating partition space in Windows 2000? I would prefer not to lose any data if possible. How can I do this?

    I use a program called partition magic to manage my partitions. it can do everything you really ever need.

    it is a very good program, it takes a while but it gets the job done. you can pick it up at any computer store for about $20

    It screwed up my hard drive every time I used it

    On one occasion it said I had a missing cluster or something and stopped in the middle of a resize op

    Data came back okay though.
