Abortion has nothing to do with communism. I was refering to an argument on this message board a couple months ago where Abortion was the topic. My comment of Communist/Democrat...well if you werent aware, democrats believe in socialism..which is the very principle communism is built upon, except it's not quite as bad. This is where the term "Pinko" comes from, becasue they aren't actualy full blooded communist they are diluted a bit..making them pink.

One can never use the word "all" because there are exceptions to every rule, but i would say around 90% of Democrats are socialist, 90% of Teenagers do or have used drugs, 90% of black people are or were in gangs, and 90% of priests molest children.

From my understanding of the political positioning of the US Democrat Party (or whatever they call themselves), they are far from socialist, compared to the political opinions held across the rest of the world, anyway. The irony is that you think a party that is named after democracy is communist. Which is just ridiculous.

Yes indeed. Most democrats are Socialists. They believe in Taxing you till you bleed, then spending on making the goverment Bigger. They need bigger Goverment to run all the new programs they want to create and to fund all the welfare and project housing and soicialized medicine and Social insecurity etc... etc..
What they want is for all the poor to be givin money from the rich so that everyone is equal to eachother. If Hillary clinto had it her way we would all be assigned housing and jobs at birth and we would just work where we're told and live where we're told our whole lives and be happy.

Arc, you are sadly misguided. Do you know what a democracy is? In a democracy, all elected officials are, well, elected. No, the polls are not fixed, and no, people are not bullied into voting for one candidate or another. Furthermore, you can vote for one of many candidates for a specific office. Hell, if you really cared enough, you could run for office yourself. That is a democracy.

Now, America is a capitalist country. In a capitalist society, companies are encouraged to compete amongst themselves for the peoples business. How many automobile manufacturers are there in this country? On the other hand, in a socialist society, the government owns everything, and, well, there is only one company producing any one thing. Do you know why we have anti-monopoly laws in this country? It is to prevent another Russia. The USSR used to produce cheap junk because the manufacturer had no competition, and thus, no reason to improve.

As for welfare... The reason welfare exists is because we in the US want everyone to have at least a certain standard of living. If a person cannot sustain that, the govt will chip in. There are certainly people who will abuse this, but the majority will not. In fact, it is generally though to be a degrading thing to be on welfare. This is not the socialist "Everyone gets the same ****".

You know, traditionaly, Democrats have been on the side of the well-to-do upper middle class person, while Republicans have been on the other side.

Arc, you are a fool. Every single thing that you have posted in this thread reeks of ignorance. Several people here have attempted to remedy that, but you have continued on your course. Hopfully at some point in your life, you will realize that not every has your view, and that you cannot change others to your views. At other times your views will be plain wrong, and occasionally, it will be slapped in your face. The only way to avoid this is to allow a free exchange of view, whether you agree with them or not. If you do not agree with said views, it is acceptable to debate, but resorting to obviously flawed facts and insults is just unacceptable.

You might want to take a look at some history books, and touch up on your knowledge of the various political systems of the world. It might be an eye opener.
