    I think it depend on what kind of program u need to develop. Internet or intarnet related I suggest .Net. If Client - server or desktop I think vb6 will be better then .Net since .net is too new and I sure there much have some bug or security problem.

    I think, new technology should be learned.
    You won't disappointed to new tech. I supposed.

    Vb6 is good. But, if u can learn both of them, why not ? knowledge will never end. So does the tech.
