Which island(s)?

The island that most people think of is Oahu (Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, etc are on it). It's also got like 75% of the population. If you want to see more of the nature parts, then go to other islands where it's not as populated (Maui, Big Island,etc)

When do you leave?

Going to Maui. My plane leaves tomorrow at 4:30PM. 18 hours, 38 minutes, and 10 seconds away, according to my countdown clock.

Umm... don't stare at the mostly naked tropical ladies on the beach too much unless you just enjoy torturing yourself. You should take a telescope with a camera attachment though - you can get great shots of the moon while you're there.

That's a trick question. Hawaii is the biggest island. Maui isn't that big. From your motel room, a decent zoom lens will be good enough.
