You guys are far too honest with each other.
Where's are the lies, deceit and backstabbing???
Everything I say is either loose interpretation of dubious facts or idle speculation rooted in irrational sentiment.

Proud of yourself, aren't you?
Well, your ally against France is floundering and the Russian forces are building up in the north.
I would say that your future is far from certain...

By whom exactly?
The only person you appear to have been betrayed by (if any) is Turkey and, correct me if I'm wrong, you were in the process of betraying them?

Hey... simon... shouldn't you be keeping your information to yourself? :suspicious:
I can assure you that I have not (and will not) disclose any information that has been given in to me in confidence.
My remarks in this thread are based on opinions that have been drawn purely by looking at the board and assessing the orders which are available to everyone.
It is no secret that Russia tried to attack Turkey and and that Turkey has manouvered into position to threaten Russia (although they haven't actually attacked).
I would say that, generally, I am more in the dark than you guys. I don't see most of your communications and can only guess at what's going on.
However, if you feel that my assesments of what's going on could affect future play, I will keep them to myself until the game is over.
The Germans reply very little to my communiques.
It is like I said, the less communitive players tend to be attacked first.

Well... maybe. Ok, ok, so Austria and I were going to kick Turkeys arse until you buggered up my move by making it invalid and then not telling me until I'd gone home for the weekend. Had I known that move would have failed, I would probably have moved into the Black Sea as it's quite a pivotal place.
And you shouldn't really be accusing me of backstabbing anyone. You're moderating the game, not muddying the waters... :frown:

OK, OK, I'll refrain from commenting on game events in future.
The last think I want to be accused of is upsetting the balance of the game.

I won't be on e-mail tomorrow and there is little chance I'll be on the web either. Rest assured colleageues that Don Corleone has submitted his orders. The rest is up to you. Don't fail me...
