Nuke Aol!!!!
Ya know the formula N(Number of AOL CD's) =DIY(Days In Year)*2
That means I get a few hundred AOL CD's per year! Well, anyway to get on with this. I got an AOL CD(DUH). I hate AOL(especially after switching to 512kb Cable). I need the perfect way to destroy it. I have already frisbeed, stepped on, thrown basball at, put in path of car(causes almost no damage). I need to try something new and exciting. I was thinking of putting a dixie cup untop of the hole, tapping in down, spraying binaca through the hole into the cop and lighting fuse thus launching CD. My mom won't let me use the microwave. Any better ideas people?

The empire state building is far.
I will try the AOL state building, but I have a feeling my mom won't like it. She wouldn't even let me drop a retarted bottle of springwater of the top of the ifle tower No matter how much I tried to convince her it would make a cool sonic boom!

Simple
thats actullay not the hardest thing to build. Just hook up a speaker to your favorat Talking Spong Bob, reprogram him to talk at seven hertz and which Spongbob kill somebody.(Wouldn't it be scary if someone walked into your room and aimed sponge bob at you?)

Re: MacOS
You need capacitators. In a series parallel circuit, 20 pairs of Heavy duty capacitators should be good enough.
Also, you'll need a switch to trigger it.
you'll know when to hit the switch by judging how much smoke is in the air

oh, and if you're going to use 100K volt capacitators, don't use them in series....
and you'll need more than a radioshack breadboard

zapping cds is no fun with the right amount of power i know.
but i also know that the right amount of power will be dangerous, i had an electronics teacher who nearly killed someone playing with massive capacitors.

LOL
I've had a hi voltage expireance, when I was little, some teenger had desected the flash circuit from his camera. Not knowing what a capicitor could do and seeing only one AA battery, I pressed it to flesh it and only got a 600v charge
By the way, would one 400,000v with 10 1K capicitors work?also, where would I attach the CD?(I WILL BE VERY CAREFUL) Also what should I charge it from? Thanx for all the ideas sofar people

Call AOL and ask them to send someone out to pick up the trash they have carelessly deposited in your mail box or to send you check to cover the percentage cost of your garbage collection service.

I'll try it with my Sprint Canada CD. Does it affect the microwave in a bad way?

well, as with any metallic object, there is some sparking.
but just stop the microwave after 4 or 5 seconds and you'll be okay.
my microwave's okay.
oh and I might mention, resonance has to do with intermolecular bonds.
and 7hz is nothing's resonant frequency.
to make a human mad you want to emit a signal at the same frequency as um... I think its alpha waves in the brain.
That makes people mad.

The cd-rom actually shatters, and makes small cracks in its surface, but the outer layer of plastic or whatever it is keeps it all together.
It is quite a cool effect
