vb.net Windows dev sucks ...........
Just finished putting the finishing touches to my screen design of a new app. Plenty of overlapping panels etc just to make it complex .... just noticed if you add a panel and don't click outside it every other control you double click onto the form becomes contained by the panel .......... *** ............... is there someway to switch this option off

Why do you need so many panels? Can we get a screenshot of the many panelled app? It seems that the IDE is just trying to help although in your cause it isn't.

Basically it's a quick attempt at generating xml script to help move data between a unix app and a windows one. Have a few option buttons (and they rock in .net love the button option for it), which allows selection of fonts etc to make it easier on the user. Have approx four overlaid panels for different obtions, the end users didn't want tabs or anything.
Just a general grip Edneeis, probably a good thing but wasn't aware of it...
