"A RESPECTED scientist has put forward the stunning - if unsavoury - possibility that humans are descended from sewage dumped overboard by aliens."
"First we read that we are the creation of God, then scientists say we are descended from apes. Now they say we're some sort of alien poo. How much further can we sink?"

I am the tricycle
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.

It's of my reckoning that the success of a thread depends largly on it's creator
Were this started by Katie, Gaffer or the like for example, then it would be on page 4 by now.
As it stands, it is similar to how it would be had I started it

We all have flashes of inspiration, don't get too used to it
But the usual suspects always make a good thread. I mean, Gaffer made 2 very succesful ones about electronics of all things.
My one moment of inspiration was a thread about Ronald MacDonald getting replaced in France by that Asterisk fellow. That made 600+ replies. It hadn't happened before, and is unlikely to happen again

I'm lucky enough to have had no interest brought to any of the threads I've started. They just sink to the bottom of the page where they belong.

I rarely start threads because they usually end up with 0 in the replies column
Infact, I'm going to prove it...http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...hreadid=191772

out of respect for your desire to be right, I'll refrain from posting there. Otherwise I must draw attention to the fact that your posts get more replies than mine.
Hell, I might just view it loads to show interest...
If tomorrow never shows
I want you all to know
that I loved you all
You're beautiful
And I had myself a ball
I've wasted so much precious time
I've been skating along these fine lines
Now these weeds have grown where the sun once shown
and my life has passed me by...
