Why can no one run my apps?
They all get a message about an unhandled exception.
That's not because they need the VB runtime files is it?

Users can get the .Net Framework from Windows Update. It is a 22mb download, so it isn't something you want to send with your app unless you are distributing it on CD. If you are distributing it on CD, you can include it so when the user installs your app and they don't have it, it will install it for them.
I don't have the link right now, but if you search the msdn library site you can find the proceedures to do it.
