    Can anyone explain to me the basics of ADO (2.5)?
    I'm using SP4 now and I wanna port all my DAO to ADO.

    I need only the start, eg.: opening a db, loading a recordset and reading fields.

    Anyone?

    These threads WILL help you as I have posted replies on them myself, therefore I know.

    Do check them out because it gives the code for creating connections/recordsets at runtime and how to set up the dataenvironment which is ADO.
