Roxio Blows!
Wow! Isn't Roxio GReat!!!!!!! I tried to use the burning software on my dads new Vaio Pentium 4 Notebook, and it gives me a message that says it can't burn to the CD because the disc is a faster speed than the drive. I have 32X cdrs. That means you can burn them at UP TO 32x. It doesn't have EZ Cd creator, but some custom burning program made by roxio. It' SUCKS!

You are quite evidently experiencing extremities of opinions there.
Quite Capricious I must say. Is this another manifestation of your aberrant nature? Or just a fallacy proven wrong?

Hey Thexcord...............
Don't use big words to try and sound smart. This is not a philisophical post. I was just stating that I've never heard of a drive being too slow for a cd before. Only Roxio would do this (who's Easy CD Creator 4 recognizes 700 MB cds as 650 MB). I use 32x Cdrs. I have a TDK drive that will burn that fast, and I use Nero burning Rom. 32x is the MAX writable speed. You can write slower than that though. For example, I burn music Cds at 16x because for some reason they always fail at 32x (think it has something to do with Nero converting mp3 -> cda on the fly. Anyway anyone ever heard of a drive being too slow for a CD before?

I like easy cd creator 5 (minly cos my burner is crap (was a gift) and it is one of the few software that will work with it) but after having to reinstal windows I tried to reinstall it and it runs the set up ("please wait while set initializes" or whatever) then disappears... never goes through the set up... So I have the bright idea to put vers 4 on then install over it. 4 goes smoothly so then i put the 5 disk back in and it says "you must uninstal vers 4 before installing vers 5" so I go to uninstall vers 4 and it will not uninstall... just sits there ... oh well vers 4 works fine

Thank you Captain Obvious...
If you aren't using Nero 5.5 then you aren't burning CDs the REAL way. Nero is the only way to go.
I'm bringing geeky back...
