That's right. Yonatan = Y O N A T A N
And also, my name is spelled MATTHEW.
M A T T H E W
A lot of people spell my name like this (with 1 t):
M A T H E W
That is not how it's spelled. It's spelled the traditional way, with two t's, so get it right!
I never spell a name wrong, I usually highlight the names and then copy them. So if you have trouble spelling my name, highlight my name, right click, and copy. Simple as that!
Hopefully, this tip will come in handy one day, just remember who told you this little tip when someone says:
"You spelled my name correct, how did you do it?"
and you reply:
"Matthew Gates helped me!"
hehe .

No, Mathew, it's Yonatan, the 6th letter is a.
The 4th one is also a, and there's only one o which is the 2nd letter. Now, the y comes in the beginning (as usual on any VB forum). The t is the 5th letter, between the a's. There are two n's, they are the 3rd letter and the 7th (last) letter.
Code:
Private Sub cmdName_Click()
Dim ShutUp As Boolean, MyName As String
MyName = StrConv(InputBox("What's Yonatan's name???"), vbProperCase)
If Not Len(MyName) = 7 Then
Call MsgBox("That's not Yonatan's name!", vbCritical)
Exit Sub
End If
' I could have written: If Not MyName = "Yonatan" Then ShutUp = True
' But I didn't! Instead, I used Left, Mid and Right, and even indented it so it can be read top to bottom.
If Not Left(MyName, 1) = "Y" Then ShutUp = True ' Because the 1st letter is: Y
If Not Mid(MyName, 2, 1) = "o" Then ShutUp = True ' Because the 2nd letter is: o
If Not Mid(MyName, 3, 1) = "n" Then ShutUp = True ' Because the 3rd letter is: n
If Not Mid(MyName, 4, 1) = "a" Then ShutUp = True ' Because the 4th letter is: a
If Not Mid(MyName, 5, 1) = "t" Then ShutUp = True ' Because the 5th letter is: t
If Not Mid(MyName, 6, 1) = "a" Then ShutUp = True ' Because the 6th letter is: a
If Not Right(MyName, 1) = "n" Then ShutUp = True ' Because the 7th letter is: n
If ShutUp Then
Call MsgBox("That's not Yonatan's name!", vbCritical)
Else
Call MsgBox("WOO! WOO! You finally got Yonatan's name right! You actually typed Yonatan!", vbExclamation)
End If
End Sub

I'll get over it.
Beseder, v'ata?
Translation:
I was sure you typed Yonaton instead of Yonatan on purpose (people always do that), and so, I was driven into taking drastic measures - the little program that I posted. (The other half simply can't be expressed in pure English)

I am good, hehe. That was pure mistake Yonatan. It was late and I still haven't slept and I mistyped your name. But it's all fixed now.
And lain17:
Code:
strlain = LCase$("Lain17")
Msgbox strlain 'will return lain17 :)

I've noticed some people type my name with 2 R's, think it's a yank thing as it seems to only be them that do it.
Why?

Well I guess I'm just a freak then, cos I'd rather people called me Harry than HarryW. I mean, how likely is it that I am addressed by my friends as HarryW?
Is that your actual name Kedaman, or does it mean something in.... finnish or wherever you're from? (hope you don't mind my forgetting) I never really thought about it before.
