    Visual C++ SP5?

    I went to download SP5 for visual C++ only to find that I had to download the service pack for all of visual studio 6. Is there some way for me to just get SP5 for Visual C++ or do I have to download all 125 megs of VS6 SP5?

    I can't find anywhere that you can download just the VC part, which is odd, they used to do it that way. Looks like you need to download 125MB for like 25MB of VC patches.

    Unless someone else knows how to get it.

    I know, doesn't really make since. They have a seperate download for vb, why not vc++?

    Yeah I dont understand it either. But I gave up trying to understand MS and their ways.

    You might want to download the latest Platform SDK also. Its another big download, but you really need it when you get around to programing in Windows.
