I have a song on a cd how do I play it on my website when a link is clicked?

lol, you might want to think about ripping an mp3 of song.
But if it's more than a few seconds you're going to piss of people without high speed net access.

Iam creating a website for a muscian and they want four of their songs on a cd placed on the website and I guess the best way to do that is when the user clicks on a link the song plays. How can I do this dont really know much of this stuff containing to playing music this is the first time I had to do.

wouldn't you have to leave the cd in the drive 24/7 to do that. also wouldn't he have to have access to the server?

why not rip them to MP3 and let the user download them ?

like ub said, rip it to an mp3, and link to it. i know that ie 6 asks you if you want to automatically play it, or just to download the file.

How do you rip it into a mp3 and exactly is an mp3 and is real player considered an mp3 player?
