    Question

    Hi.

I was just wondering if the app pictured on this website was written in VB: http://www.weddingsoft.com/GuestLst.htm

If you have a moment, check it out and tell me what you think.

    Thx.

It's hard to tell but I would guess it's written in Delphi.

deffinately not written in vb, I downloaded the trial version and checked its imports, no vb dll's required, I would go with Joacim Andersson on this one and say it was probably be written in delphi, but the only way to know for sure is to ask the author of it I guess.

I did not make my assumtion bases on the screenshot picture. I downloaded the trial version and run it.

It could have been written in VB if they used something like BitArt fusion to remove the run-times. But my guess is still that it's made in Delphi.

yeah I know aboutr bitarts fusion but wouldn't the executable be larger? and I didn't think once fusion made exectuable it required so many .dll files to run (they were all system files that came with windows the .dll mentioned in imports, but I didn't think fusion made it require so many but I haven't touched fusion for a while so I could be wrong).

I didn't download it, but it doesn't look like VB or C++. I think something made in VB or C++ would look more Windowsy that that does.
