    well,is it difficult

    2log1/2(a-3)+2xlog1/2(a-x^2)<0
    (log1/2(a-3):1/2 base logarithm of( a-3))
determine a of integer to satisfy inequality with x in R?
    can u help me?

What a hell of an inequality...

I don't know how to determine a, but at least this could be somewhat simplified, couldn't it?

    2log1/2(a-3)+2xlog1/2(a-x^2)<0

    log1/2(a-3)+xlog1/2(a-x^2)<0

    log1/2(a-3)+log1/2(a-x^2)^x<0

    log1/2[(a-3)(a-x^2)^x)]<0

    (a-3)(a-x^2)^x<1

Now, if x could be any real number, maybe you should try to solve this by numerical -rather than analytical- methods, for a specific value of x...

Where did you get this formula from?
