laptop question
Well, i just bought a laptop from dell. it's the inspiron type. (university starts in the fall and im officially out of money ) so anyway, i want to reformat it when i get it and put what i want in it for os and stuff. are the drivers for the touchpad and what-not already included in win xp, or do i have to download them from dell from their "special customer site".
thanks,
Kyle

You would get a System CD with it usually that will contain all the drivers you need for your laptop.

xp has loads of drivers included. you might not even need any extra drivers.

Touchpad might be driven by the BIOS and not even need drivers...

Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.
