    Resolved [RESOLVED] Registry Files?

    I read somewhere that all of the information is saved in 2 files (in your windows directory if i remember correctly), i recently got "delete happy" while editing my registry and i'm trying to restore my registry from a backup of my computer i made a few weeks ago. Does anyone know the names of those 2 files?

    User.dat and system.dat, if I'm not mistaken.

    if that wont work i suggest you to reboot your computer and to run under MS-DOS mode the system and type: scanreg /restore
