Disappeares as well
I've gone too - hours of lovingly handcrafted posts disappeared into the ether...
Problem is I can;t even search on my old username which sort of sucks, cos I want ot find something I posted a while ago ...

have you tried searchig using your old username as a search term? (as opposed to searching by user)

Well, that found them all...
Probably the one advantage of hand typing my sig each time is that is exists in the post and isn;t added later on... all 40 pages of results came back... :-)
Still, it's a pain...

No, I recant that last post. It just seemed to find all the posts that were made today... unless I screwed the search up, which is always a possibility...

Is there any rhyme or reason to who got toasted and who didn't?
Seems that if you had a heap of posts you got saved...

Well megatron's posts are gone, as are filburts etc.
Seems like people who have registered in 2000, and have a high post count.
But I dunno
