Update database

I need to do a project that update database information downloading a file from internet, similar to antivirus like norton

does anybody know how do it, or have any vbcode?

I'll give you a push in the right direction.

Use the inet control or winsock to connect to a ftp site or http site to download the updated file.
Once it's downloaded you can simply copy the new db over the old one.

Else create an app that the user downloads as above.
Then copies over where they installed the db to.
