Kernel error & computer hanging problem on pressing WinKey

Whenever I press the WinKey on my Keyboard, I get an error which says Kernel caused a page fault error. It shows me a 'Show Detail' button. But it is useless, because my computer hangs at once and I have to press the Power Button. Now I have been using the Mouse to open the Start Menu. What could be the problem. I even installed Windows, formated hard disk & installed again and also set the BIOS settings to default. Yet no solution.

Does CTRL+ESC crash it as well? That combo opens the start menu as well. Do you have a non-generic keyboard driver loaded?

    Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

Nope CTRL+ESC opens the Start Menu properly. I have been using the current keyboard for over 4 years and never faced this problem. I have the drivers provided by Windows during setup. Here is some information I got using Msinfo32.exe.
