    Talking

I know it's only 11:20, but I was wondering when, if it is 1 in the morning, who is still up and coding.

    PS: Happy Birthday HarryW:
    Code:
      *  *  *  *
      | | | |
      | | | |
    --------------
    | |
    | HARRYW |
    | |

I have no internal clock, I've been up coding till 8am a couple of times in the last week, I just sleep when I feel like sleeping, which is never the same time as the night before.

Oh, and happy happy birthday Harry, may the seed of your loins be fruitful in the belly of your woman.

It is now 1:19 where I live and I just finished a little Access programming. Now I'm going to move on to some VB programming.

Aah, the sweet smell of insomnia. Too bad I'm too tired to enjoy it.

You know you're old when your candles start costing more then your birthday cake!

And for those of you wondering how old that makes me (I'm sure you're all just dying to know) I'm 19 today.

Ok. Cakes ain't my speciality (as you can see it didn't rise properly, a bit like ... forget it)

    Bye!

    19. Hmmm. It's the first multi-digit non-palindrominal prime number, which when reversed creates a non-prime number.

That's something to tell at parties.

    Cool Late Night Coding

I work night shift, from 11pm to 8am. My position is not really a "Programer", I'm more like "The Backup Guy". But I code a lot to automate procedures, reports and making my shift easier... and yes, I also code just for the fun of it. I have found that at night, Im a lot more productive, as Im alone, I have no interuptions.

And what else I could do in my "Lunch Hour" (3am - 4am)

I find I'm more productive later at night, it usually takes a few hours before I'm done with all the distractions and acually get coding. And the desire to sleep will help push anything to the point where it will compile.

Who in their right minds would go out drinking, and as soon as they get back home dive into some VB coding? Not me, and even I'm not in my right mind You should be slumped in front of the telly, or looking at porn with your mates, or having cyber-sex with some girl, but as a first line saying "Uunngghhhh... ahhh was it good for you? *wipes knob on the curtains*"

Sorry if that was a bit crude for the more delicate viewers of this thread, I'm a bit pished. Probably regret it in the morning

Cool Harry only just got the goods news happy birthday dude

Generally spend all day doing mods/fixing bugs/talking to clients and drinking coffee. From about 10p.m spend five to six hours in development, no interruptions, no phone calls, etc....then again have own company so get the benefits at some stage.

The day is only really there for specification development, and trying to pass on work to others
