Uni Project

Can anyone give me any ideas on a good solid project i can do for my uni course. It would be written in vb and would incorporate some sort of database.
At the moment i have thought of things like a library system, some sort of warehousing system etc etc, but they all seem to be pretty boring.
Is there anyone out there that can give me some sort of ideas on good projects of 3rd year uni level ??

You could do an mp3 management system that would read that could have many neat features. Many systems such as this already exist, but i guess it could be fun anyways. Depending on how much time you want to put into it, there are a lot of things you could do with this project.
Just some ideas would be:
- Create playlists based on author or type
- Allow the user to gather all the mp3's to a central directory, with subdirectories for type and sub-subdirectories for author
- Edit the tags and filename for each mp3
- Actually play the mp3's

I don't know if it is too late for another proposal, but I'm beginning to work in a inventory management programme for a non-profit where I work. If it takes off it will be used pretty much all over the world -though, still quite a few copies compared to usual programmes- I have the idea pretty much developped but as I'm a beginner in VB I do not think it will work without help (despite the fact that programming in a team avoids a lot of mistakes) If you, or soemone else, is interested in knowing more about, please contact me or post a replay, promise to answer...
