    Red face Challenge

    Challenge???
I have developed an algorithm that is to generate a unique set of 14 numbers for employees to use when accessing confidential information during login to the company`s website.
Due to requirements, the system is to work as stated above. The problem is that, I want to know if it is posible for someone to generate a simmilar set of numbers that would fit in the check algorithm and therefore bypass this security. Below are two samples of the generated set of numbers, the prefix (2042) is the same depending on the category of information required. So if anyone can find the logic in these two samples and generate a new set of 14 numbers please let me know and explain how.

    Number 1 : 20423019679192
    Number 2 : 20423766129406

There are 10 types of people in the world - those that understand binary, and those that don't.

I thought you could do better than that... of course this would not fit the algorithm...

If you want people to actually try to find a pattern you have to give us a lot more numbers. Given any 2 numbers I can probably find 10 different patterns in under 2 minutes. I don't know what your pattern is like, obviously, but you would need to provide 10, 100, or possibly thousands of numbers. For starters I would give us 50 though.
