Mini-Linux Distro
Has anyone seen a Mini-Linux distro that can find on a 220MB hard drive and is capable of playing MP3s? I just got 3 100mhz computers from my boss at work for free, and two of them have 220MB hard drives in them. I was going to buy a cheap motherboard and some other stuff to build one (See Here), but if I have these computers to dispose of, I don't need to buy stuff. I don't have a larger hard drive, but I was thinking 220 megs of MP3s was enough for a few hours worth of music. I can put in an old ISA network card I have lying around, and just transfer more music that way.
So I'll repeat the question incase I just confused anyone:
Does anyone know where I can download a mini-linux distribution that is capable of playing MP3s and will fit on a 220MB hard drive?

Debian will install in 100mb minimum but you will be omitting useful components. They recommend 250 at least and would prefer 1.6gb.
Otherwise Phat Linux is alright!

When installed, does phat linux not take up very much space? Will I be able to fit an MP3 player program on the disk after the install? I've thought about debian and redhat as well, but they both take up too much disk space. I was hoping to find one of those Floppy-sized linux distros with support for mp3, but I guess that ain't gonna happen.

debian will install at 100mb add soem components till about 200mb and it'll run. Not the best but thats what you get.
Red hat distro's are to big.
Phat should do it'll run on Fat disk partition as well.
There are heaps of small distro's do a search on google.

Hell. If Winamp runs on linux, then that is what I am going to use. You have to be using a GUI though, right?

if you are really brave you could try lfs, they can get those installs down to like 5 megs, LFS scares me though

slackware also makes very smal installs, currently mine isn't to small (about a gig and a half) but that is because i am playing around with like 5 different desktop environments, i have all the development stuff installed

Have any of you seen a command line MP3 player? That would be nice cause then I don't have to install any type of gui and save more space on the disk.

I think there is one called either mpg123 or mpg321.
