I am currently using XP Home and I want to know if the .NET software that says XP PRO can be ran on XP Home (ie: VB).

Ok thanks that is good news, what are the minimum sys requirements for VB.NET Standard edition? I know Microsoft has a page about the min system requirements but it is usually an undershot of the actual requirements.

My advice would be to have at least 512k ram because it's pretty intensive.

the reason why xp home is not listed is because it lacks some of the server featurs of pro which are required for asp.net or something, but vb, c# etc will run fine,
and if u thing the final relises is sluggish u should have seen beta 2
