    Unhappy Yahoo Messenger help!

For reasons which don't need explaining at this time, I and this so called friend have added each other on our Yahoo lists.

I had to! It was emotional blackmail!

Anyways, I know if I delete her, she'll still be able to see me, and I'll have to talk to her!!

How the hell do I get rid of her? I've heard that if I block someone, they can still see me, but their messages don't get to me. Is there anyway I can always appear as offline on her list, and she not appear at all on mine?

Just set your status to Invisible, and you will always know who is online, but you will show up as offline to everyone else. With version 5 you just click on the face at the bottom of the main window.
